Hi, I'm Aphrodite!
​My connection to Greece runs deep through both of my parents.
My father was born and raised in Kefalonia, and my mother was born in Athens. They each came to America at a young age bringing their culture, values, and love for Greece with them.
Although they built their life in the United States, they made sure their children stayed connected to our roots by taking us back to Greece every summer.
Because of that, I grew up with unforgettable memories—my pappou’s garden, long days at the beach, village life, family gatherings, traditions, and friendships that still mean so much to me today.
Greece is more than a destination to me—it’s family, identity, warmth, and home.
Through Connect in Greek, I want to share that feeling with others—not just the beauty of Greece, but the connection, spirit, and way of life that make it unforgettable.
